Francesca Gamble

Currently in my final year at Nottingham Trent University studying Fashion Marketing and Communication. As a Fashion Marketing student I want to develop my skills in all areas of the industry, giving me a wider understanding of the business I will eventually go in to. As well as creating our tackle it campaign, I visited Lima in Peru and filmed a documentary called Students for Students. It high-lighted the plight of street children who live the shanty-towns. The documentary was then shown around schools in England to help highlight the poor education and living conditions of the Peruvian children.

Having already worked in the fashion industry in areas such as buying, merchandising, PR, editorial and styling. Also I have worked at the head office for companies such as GAP, Adams children’s wear, Ideas Network, Cohn and Wolfe PR, EVE magazine and assisted fashion stylist Mark Hayes.

With the experience I have already gained combined with that of Tallulah’s then tackle it is sure to be a huge success.

Tallulah Hall

I was largely educated in multi-cultural Belgium before returning to the U.K to complete my studies. Currently in my third year studying Fashion Marketing and Communications at Nottingham Trent University. A fluent French speaker, I have already gained valuable work experience at the London head office of ‘East’; with the Belgian couturier Edouard Vermeulen in his fashion house ‘Natan’ and in both retail and buying in the U.K and Vietnam with ‘Something Old Something New’.

As evidence of my determination and commitment, I have also travelled widely in the U.S.A, Africa, Europe, the Far East and spent six months before university working my way round New Zealand and Australia.

‘tackle it’ has given me the opportunity to demonstrate the skills I have acquired from my degree course and to illustrate my flare, passion, inventiveness and my determination to be a fashion buyer.
